As we've discovered over the past few weeks, running the Random dungeons has been a great way to gear up fairly quickly. From what I've seen, in a typical night from 8-10pm we can usually run at least 3 dungeons, equaling 15-19 Emblems of Triumph per person. Even if we cleared Ulduar in one night, we could not earn that many emblems, and the gear that you can purchase with the Triumph emblems is of a higher level than what drops in Ulduar. To me, it makes little sense to be beating our heads against Ulduar when we get little from it, other than the chance for 10 of us to play together at the same time (which also has been rather difficult to pull together lately).

What we are going to try instead, is to target the weekly Random Raid target (probably Wed or Fri) once we know what said target is, and otherwise focus on running Random Heroics for the next couple of weeks. I think we've got enough people with enough gear to start to really try in earnest to beat the Trial of the Crusader, which will net us awards that are actual upgrades and prepare us to eventually enter Icecrown. Of course if anyone has special requests to do a particular raid, let us know. We may revisit Ulduar once in a while, but I'd like to see us get some real rewards for all our hard work
