So, this happened…
What is “this”, you say? This is our “filthy casual” guild one-shotting the first boss in the final raid of an expansion on the first night of release, that’s what “this” is!
Let the record show that on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, Silent Strike did something it’s never done as a guild before. We took down the first boss, on our first try, in a brand new raid on the first night of release. Big deal, you say? Actually, to me and probably many of my guildmates, it is a pretty big deal.
We’re a friends and family guild of casual gamers and while we have always tried to do the best we can with the time we have, we’ve usually always been a raid or two behind the curve. Legion has been a pretty amazing expansion for us, partly because Blizzard finally got a lot of things right – primarily enabling even casual gamers to solo their way to top level gear and partly because we’ve got an amazing group of players who do the work and help each other to succeed.
Congratulations to all of you!
